I was born and raised in rural Hawaii among surfers and cattle ranches. I grew up milking cows, hiking over lava fields, and reading so voraciously that the library system transferred entire book series to our small town. That sense of adventure has led me around the world. While I am now based out of San Francisco, I often spend extended periods of time in Arctic Norway as well as back home on Hawaii island (follow my travels here!).
In my free time, I do volunteer photography at the Marine Mammal Center, because the oceans and environment are not only spectacular to explore, but also critical to world health.
I am passionate about living life to the fullest and value kindness and empathy above all else. I regularly take long haul flights for dates with loved ones and I'll happily jump on a plane to photograph the love in your life! My absolute top priority is to put into photos not only how your wedding day looked, but how it felt, so you can travel back to it for years to come.
